Skyway sign design visualizer - Southbound (Libis Baesa to Alabang)
Visual guide to my southbound signage ideas for Skyway. (I will update this between Hillsborough and Susana Heights once the Skyway Extension is opened this summer.)
Screenshots are from the following video by Jeff Ski:

As with the northbound page, none of the signs designs/additions here are present in real life but demonstrate my thoughts for more efficient information interpretation along the entirety of the road.

Kilometer 12 on NLEX
Balintawak Toll Plaza, Caloocan
Kilometer 11.5 on NLEX
Tullahan River/future Skyway bend towards NMIA
As a substitute for the "next 6 exits" signage along Skyway, this essentially informs drivers that their best routes to NAIA, Alabang, Fort Bonifacio and Bacoor (via CAVITEX) are along Skyway, while those going to Balintawak or Cubao in Quezon City or Santa Cruz in Manila should continue south towards A. Bonifacio Avenue.
NLEX Exit 11B - Libis Baesa
NLEX Exit 11A - Skyway
The Libis Baesa pedestrian bridge is a good place to put some gore point signage that can actually be seen by NLEX drivers, rather than the existing "Welome To Skyway Stage 3" sign assembly (seen ahead) that is hard to catch at a distance.
Instead of a typical pullthrough sign for NLEX southbound, an upcoming exit sign for EDSA is there, as the majority of traffic continuing there is trying to get towards Cubao.
35 kilometers - 21 3/4 miles north of Susana Heights
Caloocan city limit (just north of Camachile Flyover)
34 kilometers - 21 1/8 miles north of Susana Heights
above the Balintawak Cloverleaf
33 kilometers - 20 1/2 miles north of Susana Heights
above A. Bonifacio at 7th Avenue
Even though we are in Quezon City already, the fact the next ramp does not lead into city limits at all but rather Caloocan is why I chose to include QC as a pullthrough destination still.
32.7 kilometers - 20 1/4 miles north of Susana Heights
Exit 32 - Sgt. Rivera
31 kilometers - 19 1/4 miles north of Susana Heights
just past Del Monte - 500m north of Quezon Avenue
Chose this spot to first mention Makati as a control destination (since Quezon Avenue is the main exit to Quezon City along the highway). Chose not to mention the E. Rodriguez exit this early in order to keep message loading low.
30.5 kilometers - 19 miles north of Susana Heights
Exit 30 - Quezon Avenue
First mention of E. Rodriguez is here (as it is the second and final QC exit on the road).
29.25 kilometers - 18 1/8 miles north of Susana Heights
1 km north of E. Rodriguez exit
Chose to mention PAREX here already for those who are trying to reach BGC or northern Makati (i.e. Rockwell).
28.75 kilometers - 17 7/8 miles north of Susana Heights
500m north of E. Rodriguez
Good place here to mention the auxiliary destinations one can reach via E. Rodriguez exit. (While all three listed can be reached too via NLEX Connector, this route involves less distance)
28.55 kilometers - 17 3/4 miles north of Susana Heights
300m from E. Rodriguez exit
Also mentioning the specific streets one can reach via E. Rodriguez exit, namely Aurora Boulevard (at SM Centerpoint)
28.27 kilometers - 17 1/2 miles north of Susana Heights
Exit 28 - E. Rodriguez Avenue
26 kilometers - 16 1/8 miles north of Susana Heights
San Juan Bridge/Manila city limit
For the upcoming PAREX exit, listed the two Makati destinations much better reached from the (proposed) expressway, as compared to going all the way to the Buendia exit. In that same vein, Ortigas is also mentioned despite not directly being on the planned expressway route - this would be a better alternative to either Buendia, EDSA (specifically the Makati section), or E. Rodriguez to get to that commercial district.
24 kilometers - 15 miles north of Susana Heights
San Juan River section, Punta (Santa Ana)
First mention of NLEX Connector exit - which is actually the best route to the western half of Santa Mesa from Skyway, so decided to replace "Sampaloc" as a control destination with Santa Mesa instead. (E. Rodriguez is much better to get to Sampaloc going southbound)
23.4 kilometers - 14 1/2 miles north of Susana Heights
Exit 23B - PAREX
22.9 kilometers - 14 1/4 miles north of Susana Heights
Exit 23A - NLEX Connector (Tomas Claudio Interchange)
Posted a variation of this diagrammatic earlier on Skyscrapercity but refined a bit (moved the 800 m distance text closer to the exit labeling, and changed Sampaloc to Santa Mesa).
UPDATE, 5/24/21 to reflect SMC naming the exit Quirino Avenue instead of Plaza Dilao (now that this ramp has opened)
22.4 kilometers - 14 miles north of Susana Heights
300m to Plaza Dilao/Nagtahan
22 kilometers - 13 2/3 north of Susana Heights
Exit 22 - Nagtahan/Quirino Avenue (Plaza Dilao)
Second semi-diagrammatic setup. Buendia exit now signed here (and for Makati as well) so the pullthrough control destinations are now NAIA and Alabang.
UPDATE, 5/24/21 to reflect SMC naming the exit Quirino Avenue instead of Plaza Dilao (now that this ramp has opened)
UPDATE, 5/25/21: ramp signage concept for Quirino Avenue southbound, based on this video from dmitrivalencia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkFjUqCp6fA
21 kilometers - 13 miles north of Susana Heights
Quirino/Osmena bend
Next 3 exits sign. Great reminder that basically there is only one southbound exit in Makati city limits.
20.5 kilometers - 12 3/4 north of Susana Heights
1 kilometer from Buendia exit
Existing sign, but retrofitted with tab.
20 kilometers - 12 1/2 miles north of Susana Heights
500 meters to Buendia exit
First full exit sign for NAIAX given that the airport is a likely destination for a lot of drivers here. Also adding alert to Pasay and EDSA for Buendia exit (as opposed to it in small text on the existing temporary signs at the gore point).
19.5 kilometers - 12 1/8 miles north of Susana Heights
Exit 19 - Buendia (Makati city limit at Zobel Roxas Street)
Control cities now shifting to Alabang/Calamba (the later a SLEX destination).
16 kilometers - 10 miles north of Susana Heights
near Don Bosco
Baclaran as an alternative control city for NAIAX here (specifically targeting those who missed getting to EDSA via Buendia and Osmena).
15.65 kilometers - 9 3/4 miles north of Susana Heights
Added exit tab to existing NAIA sign.
15 kilometers - 9 1/3 miles north of Susana Heights
Pasay city limit - 1 km north of NAIAX
Added exit tab to existing sign.
14.5 kilometers - 9 miles north of Susana Heights
Exit 14 - NAIAX
12.5 kilometers - 7 3/4 miles north of Susana Heights
C-5 South Link overpass
Since SEMME is only exit that reaches C-5, that road is an auxiliary destination for the upcoming Exit 12. Also added a three-destinations-list sign showing how far CALAX and Calamba are (after the Skyway terminus).
12 kilometers - 7 1/2 miles north of Susana Heights
Exit 12, SEMME - Paranaque city limit
11.5 kilometers - 7 1/8 miles north of Susana Heights
1 km north of Bicutan exit
replaced the existing sign here with a next-three-exits sign, especially with Alabang getting closer.
11.2 kilometers - 7 miles north of Susana Heights
about 750 m north of Bicutan exit
Used existing gantry to add a list of auxiliary destinations at Bicutan (namely the Laguna Lake Highway).
11 kilometers - 6 7/8 miles north of Susana Heights
500 m north of Bicutan
Added exit tab.
10.4 kilometers - 6 1/2 miles north of Susana Heights
Exit 10 - Bicutan
8.6 kilometers - 5 1/3 miles north of Susana Heights
2 km to Sucat exit
Added exit tab.
7 kilometers - 4 1/3 miles north of Susana Heights
500 m to Sucat exit
added exit tab.
6.6 kilometers - 4 miles north of Susana Heights
Exit 6 - Sucat
Variation 1 is based on the current setup (left lane goes to SLEX eventually).
Variation 2 is based on when the southbound Skyway Extension opens and traffic going to Alabang will be exiting on the left side.
6 kilometers - 3 3/4 miles north of Susana Heights
Muntinlupa city limit
4 kilometers - 2 1/2 miles north of Susana Heights
Exit 4 - Alabang (Hillsborough exit)
Variation 1 is based on the current temporary setup, with Hillsborough offramp to SLEX permanently closed.
Variation 2 is what will be up once the Skyway Extension has opened.
